1ª dose de vacinação contra COVID para maiores de 77 anos é suspensa temporariamente

A vacinação contra COVID-19 para maiores de 77 anos que começou a ser feita na quarta-feira, 3, e estava prevista para ter continuidade nessa quinta, 4, foi suspensa temporariamente.

Segundo informa a secretária da Saúde Cristiani Silvério, essa foi uma medida necessária pelo fato da demanda ter sido maior do que o previsto e agora precisa aguardar a chegada de nova remessa de vacina para fazer a primeira dose nesses idosos.

“Estamos aguardando a chegada de novas remessas de vacina para retomarmos a imunização da 1ª dose para maiores de 77 anos, pois recebemos poucas doses de vacina para essa faixa etária. As doses que temos em estoque são para aqueles que já receberam a primeira dose”, diz a secretária.
