A Prefeitura de Assis, através da Secretaria Municipal de Esporte, desenvolve no Parque da Juventude o Projeto Esporte e Lazer, com novas opções de modalidades esportivas e recreativas direcionadas aos visitantes aos sábados e domingos e feriados.
Agora, a população poderá aproveitar e participar também de modalidades como golzinho, mini vôlei, badminton, moutain bike, trilha pela mata e ski-bunda.
Há outras atividades para serem praticadas no local, como a pista de BMX, parquinho infantil, pista de caminhada e a tirolesa, que até o fim de dezembro o passeio será gratuito.
O secretário Municipal de Esporte, César Nunes explica que as modalidades são oferecidas todos os finais de semana e feriados sob a supervisão de profissionais da área esportiva.
“Adequamos a programação esportiva do local para que pudéssemos oferecer mais oportunidades aos moradores que frequentam o Parque da Juventude. Sabemos da importância do esporte para mais qualidade de vida das pessoas e pensando nisso trouxemos outras atividades direcionadas à prática esportiva dos frequentadores do espaço”, diz César.
