A Secretaria Municipal da Saúde informa nessa sexta-feira, 21 de agosto, que dos 940 pacientes que foram confirmados com COVID-19, 890 estão curados, 30 ainda fazem isolamento domiciliar e 20 evoluíram para óbito.
Hoje, Assis tem 2.854 casos negativos e desde o início da pandemia já foram notificadas 4.241 pessoas com suspeita de terem contraído o novo Coronavírus; 447 pacientes aguardam resultado de exames.
Seis pacientes de Assis estão hospitalizados, entre confirmados e suspeitos. Três mulheres estão em enfermaria e três homens também em enfermaria.
Todos os pacientes divulgados, com casos confirmados, negativos ou óbitos, assim como internados e que aguardam resultados são residentes em Assis.
Pacientes de outros municípios atendidos em Assis não são computados nesses dados, e sim no município de origem.
Entre as medidas que devem ser adotadas para evitar a transmissão do Coronavírus estão manter todos os protocolos de higiene, ficar em casa, se possível, e usar máscaras ao sair de suas residências, medida já obrigatória em todo o Estado de São Paulo e no Município de Assis.
