O Fundo Social de Solidariedade recebeu a doação de 612 quilos de alimentos e 35 cestas básicas provenientes da ação social realizada pelo Corpo de Bombeiros.
O Drive Thru Solidário aconteceu na última terça-feira, 16, na frente da sede da Corporação em Assis.
Na ocasião, a população realizou a doação de alimento não perecível e outros produtos de limpeza e higiene pessoal sem sair do carro.
Toda a arrecadação foi repassada ao Fundo Social, responsável pela distribuição às famílias em situação de vulnerabilidade social em Assis.
“Somos gratos pela iniciativa dos Bombeiros, pois a doação dos alimentos vai ajudar muitas famílias que tanto precisam. Nesse momento de pandemia que a cidade enfrenta, atitudes como estas estimulam o amor ao próximo em forma de doação”, avalia Luciana Barreto Fernandes, presidente do Fundo Social de Solidariedade.
