Doria se reúne com prefeitos nesta segunda para decidir sobre bloqueio total em SP

Com 90% de ocupação dos leitos hospitalares na capital, essa semana será decisiva para o governo de São Paulo adotar ou não um bloqueio total mais rígido. O governador João Doria e o prefeito Bruno Covas tentam aumentar o isolamento social na cidade para evitar a decretação do confinamento obrigatório.

Nesta segunda-feira (25), João Doria vai fazer uma reunião por videoconferência com prefeitos do Estado de São Paulo para alinhar os próximos passos da contenção da pandemia.

O megaferiado foi a última cartada da prefeitura para aumentar o isolamento e evitar medidas mais restritivas na capital. No entanto, o resultado não foi o desejado.

O índice de isolamento social neste sábado ficou em 53%. No Estado, esse número foi ainda menor: de 51%. Ambos abaixo do mínimo necessário de 55%, estabelecido pelo Centro de Contingência para que o sistema público de saúde não entre em colapso.

Ao menos 13 hospitais de referência ao tratamento da covid-19 já estão com todos os leitos de UTI ocupados.

Com esse cenário, uma decisão sobre o bloqueio total será anunciada nesta quarta-feira. Um plano de confinamento obrigatório já está pronto e aguarda a decisão do governador.

Porém, a medida divide opiniões já que sua aplicação não é considerada fácil por membros do governo. Isso acontece porque há alguns empecilhos, como a ineficácia de um fechamento apenas na capital enquanto as cidades da Região Metropolitana continuariam abertas.

Além disso, segundo apuração da Jovem Pan, aplicar a medida apenas na cidade ou mesmo em todo o estado de São Paulo dificultaria a fiscalização e penalização para os infratores do isolamento.

Em entrevista à revista inglesa The Economist, Doria disse que para decretar lockdown precisaria de um contingente maior de policiais civis e militares na Região Metropolitana.

Segundo o Centro de Contingência ao Coronavírus, se o isolamento social não aumentar, a pandemia pode permanecer no Estado até o mês de outubro.

São Paulo registrou mais de 6 mil mortes por covid-19, segundo a Secretaria de Estado de Saúde. O vírus infectou 80.558 pessoas em 505 municípios do Estado.
