O isolamento social, medido pelo Sistema de Monitoramento Inteligente (SIMI), é o principal fator de avaliação para relaxamento das medidas decretadas no combate ao COVID-19.
Segundo o Governo do Estado de São Paulo, Assis está entre as 20 piores cidades do Estado em seus índices de isolamento, muito abaixo do desejável, e pode sofrer em um futuro bem próximo com a não inclusão nos planos de relaxamento, previsto para a partir do dia 11 de maio.
A média de isolamento social em Assis tem se mantido em 48%, apesar de ter subido no feriado do 1º de maio, quando o índice foi de 56%; no sábado, 2, caiu para 53%; e voltou a subir no domingo, 3, e atingiu 59%.
O Governo considera que a média deve ser mantida acima de 50% para que haja relaxamento automática das atividades.
“Não havendo índice superior a 50%, cidades estarão automaticamente excluídas de relaxamento”, disse o governador João Doria, em coletiva nessa segunda-feira, quando inclusive mencionou Assis como um dos municípios que não atendem as recomendações e precisam melhorar.
