Procurado pela reportagem da Difusora, o Posto de Lacração de Veículos de Assis afirmou que ainda não dispõe desse novo material. De acordo com um dos responsáveis pelo setor, Estevam Bertolini, até o momento o estado de São Paulo não promoveu essa mudança.
Posto de Lacração de Assis, assim como todo o Estado, não tem prazo para emitir placas no padrão Mercosul
